Inriri : For Cello and Electronics (2021).

In one movement. Commissioned by and dedicated to Robert Mason. Composed for Ashley Bathgate. Inspired by the transformative energy of the inriri (woodpecker) and a myth involving the bird associated with the indigenous Taíno people. This piece requires the electronics track be played into stereo speakers at a substantial volume and balanced with the performer. An optional click track is also available.
