An opera in two acts. Libretto by José de Cañizares. With an introduction, biographical notes, notes on the sources, plot synopsis, libretto, critical notes, and appendices in Spanish. Premiered in Madrid, April-May 1720. This edition does not fully capture the music as it would have been premiered in 1720, due to the nature of the various sources available. This edition is principally based on a score held in the Biblioteca de Cataluña, which was copied by the chapel master of the Catedral de Lérida, Domingo Teixidor, around the third or fourth decade of the 18th century.
