In one movement. With program and performance notes. Scored for castanets and undetermined metals, drums, woods and plastics. The music was inspired by the events of the year 2020. The electronics part samples newscasts, speeches, interviews, and more. The score is often graphic in nature, and performance features improvisation. Includes a download link for the electronics part. This work won 1st Place at the 2021 Media Press Percussion Composition Competition.
