This music was inspired by the work of the instrument builder Walter Smetak (1913-1984). The ensemble calls for trumpet, horn, trombone, percussion, harp, violin, viola, cello and bass. Some of the players also double on instruments built by Smetak. Duration ca. 16 minutes.
