First edition. This is the first of two trios which took Strauss, then a teenager, only two days to compose in December 1877 while he was sick in bed with "enteritis" - according to a letter to his friend, Ludwig Thuille. This trio was dedicated to his uncle Anton. Preface by Stephan Kohler.
