Symphony No. 5, Op. 43 : For Orchestra (2015).

This work was commissioned by the Shanghai Philharmonic Orchestra in honor of the 70th anniversary of the end of World War II and the Second Sino-Japanese War. The work is divided into two halves, with the first half being an instrumental cycle and the second half a vocal one. With a foreword and a biographical note. The vocal section sets Chinese texts, and includes a soprano aria, a tenor aria, and a choral movement. Duration ca. 50 minutes.
