Honey Flyers : For String Quartet.

A quartet in three movements, any of which may be performed separately. With program notes. Dedicated to the memory of John Lad. Commissioned by the 2007 Carlsbad Music Festival Composers Competition. The second and third movements feature optional use of a Bot(i)Cello or sampled honeybees. The Bot(i)cello is a robotic cello. Duration ca. 25 minutes.
