On the occasion of the 70th birthday of Gidon Kremer, violinist extraordinaire, G. Henle Publishers is issuing a special edition of Beethoven's Violin Concerto in collaboration with the Kronberg Academy. This set includes a piano score with a separate unmarked violin part, as edited by Shin Augustinus Kojima; and a violin part with fingerings and bowings by Kremer. Also included are several pull-out cadenzas, including a first movement cadenza by Victor Kissine, played often by Kremer and published here for the first time. With prefaces in German, English, and French.
