Commissioned by the Landes Baden Wuerttemberg for the Musikalische Akademie, Stuttgart and premiered in May 1995. The composer recommends that the 2nd, 3rd and 4th movements be performed without a break and that the players be "spatially distributed." Duration: ca. 20 minutes.
