This 25-movement work is a pasticcio incorporating music by Georg Benda, Gottfried August Homilius, Gottfried Heinrich Stölzel, and Georg Philipp Telemann. With a preface, introduction, libretto, plates, and critical report. This work is based on C. P. E. Bach's 1771 St. Luke Passion, itself based on Telemann's 1760 setting. This edition is based on the complete parts set used for the premiere performance.
