Commissioned by the Barlow Endowment for Music Composition at Brigham Young University and Paul & Catherine Buttenwieser for Boston Musica Viva. The music sets four anonymous Spanish-Ladino texts. The ensemble is scored for flute, clarinet, violin, cello and percussion. The wind and string players also play some percussion. Duration ca. 22 minutes.
