Concerto : For Violoncello and Orchestra / Final Movement Elaborated by Jonathan Clinch.

Howells composed the Fantasia for Cello and Orchestra in the 1930s, as the projected first movement of a Cello Concerto. He prepared a short score of a second movement, which was orchestated by Christopher Palmer in 1992. He made sketches for a third movement throughout the rest of his life, and this final movement is completed here by Clinch. This is a reduction of the music for cello and piano.
