An opera in five acts, with a prologue. With an introduction and critical commentary in French and English. Libretto with English translation. Facsimile plates. Composed in 1730 on a libretto by N. Fermelhuis, this was Royer's only tragedie en musique. This edition is based primarily on the original manuscript set of vocal and instrumental parts used in the premiere performance at the Paris Opera.
