With a preface and biographical note. Mozart composed this piece, as well as the Duo K. 424, in 1783 as a favor for Michael Haydn, who was having difficulty completing a commission of six duos due to illness. Scheid is a violinist who is pursuing a Graduate Diploma at Juilliard.
