Moscheles composed the Variations Brillantes, Op. 87 with Felix Mendelssohn in 1833; they originally wrote for two pianos and orchestra. This edition presents versions for piano duet and for two pianos which Moscheles later published, as well as two versions of Moscheles' Symphonie-heroischer Marsch, Op. 130. The part contains the Pianoforte II music for the two-piano versions of the works. With source and editorial notes.
