Flute Concerto - Fury Of Light : For Flute and Orchestra (2010).

Part I: Fast. Part II: Elegy. Part III: Meditation. Part IV: Very Fast. Commissioned for Carol Wincenc in honor of her Ruby Anniversary by Backshore Artists, Inc., and funded by a generous grant from Linda and Stuart Nelson. Premiered in Anaheim, August 2010 by Carol Wincenc. The music was inspired by the poem Sunrise, by Mary Oliver. Duration ca. 17 minutes. A version for flute and piano is also available.
