In one movement. With program and biographical notes. Composed for Nathaniel Brickens, the University of Texas-Austin Trombone Choir, and the 2010 International Trombone Festival. Premiered in Austin, July 2010. The trombones are divided into two groups, and the music depicts a showdown between two groups of cowboys. Duration ca. 10 minutes.
