In one movement. With a brief program note. Commissioned by the Huntingdon Trio. Premiered in July 1985. A rhythmic and energetic work, mostly in 5/8 and 5/4. The work won First Prize in the 1990 Friends and Enemies of New Music Competition. Of advanced difficulty.
