Instrumentation: Marimba 1 (4-octave) -- Marimba 2 (4-octave) -- Marimba 3 (4-octave) -- Marimba 4 (4.6-octave). Essentially a two-mallet work for each performer, the Suite for Keyboard Percussion demands excellent technique from all four players. The first and third movements create exciting rhythmical textures in contrast with the second movement's beautiful chorale.
