Sonata : For Solo Cello.

This work, composed in 1931, is more traditional in nature than Schnabel's unconventional Sonata for solo violin. Although the music was composed for Gregor Piatigorsky, it was not performed until twenty years later by Georg Neikrug. With a preface and biography by Werner Grünzweig.
