This work for two violins, viola, cello and piano was commissioned by Peter and Veronica Lofthouse for the Nash Ensemble, which premiered the work in London, January 2003. Dedicated to Richard Rodney Bennett, this is a highly energetic and fast-paced work in one-movement. Duration ca. 12 minutes.
