Commissioned by Music Toronto for Marina Piccinini. The music was inspired by Farley Mowat's book, People of the Deer, and uses the flute to express Arctic madness. With a good deal of extended technique, such as pitch bends, whistling, groans, and more. Requires a B-foot joint.
