A chamber oratorio in 10 movements, on writings by Leonardo da Vinci. The music was dedicated to the memories of Marcella DeCray, Jean-Louis LeRoux, and Marta LeRoux. It was premiered in San Francisco, 1983. The ensemble is scored for viola, guitar, harp, flute, and bass clarinet. The movements are sometimes overlapping, sometimes sequential, and sometimes simultaneous. This edition contains parts for the five instruments.
