This work is based on T. S. Eliot's The Hollow Men. With a preface by the composer, and technical notes. This was Saariaho's first stage work, but Eliot's estate denied her the rights to the text. This changed in 2018, but the tape was lost and the composer had to create a new one. This edition is a printing of Saariaho's manuscript, and includes web links for the electronic components.
