Bill's Shadow : For Solo Flugelhorn, Jazz Combo and String Quartet (2015).

In one movement. Commissioned by Musical Offerings - Jazz Meets Classical. The music is a tribute to Billy Strayhorn on his 100th birthday. The flugelhorn part includes improvisation, while the clarinet part contains optional improvisation. The jazz combo incudes piano, bass and drums.
