Contents: I. River-bank -- II. Toad, Esq. -- III. The Wild Wood. With an introduction by Carl B. and Elizabeth K. Schmidt. This work was inspired by the book by Kenneth Grahame, and was premiered in Italy in 1925. It was popular for a while but then fell into obscurity. This is the first edition of the music. It is based mainly on a set of copyist's parts held in the Library of Congress.
