Beethoven composed this concerto in 1799/1800. This is a facsimile of the autograph manuscript, held in the Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin, Preussischer Kulturbesitz, Musikabteilung mit Mendelssohn-Archiv. With a foreword by Mitsuko Uchida and commentary by the editor in German and English. The manuscript contains a complete orchestral part, but the piano part is not notated completely. This would not take place until 1803.
