A critical edition of Rossini's mass setting. Volume 4 contains the first version of the work, premiered in Paris 1864, for soloists and choir with two pianos and harmonium. Volume 5 contains the second version, premiered in Paris 1869, for voices with orchestra. A third, paperback volume contains introductory material in Italian. Both score volumes contain a preface and critical notes in Italian. The two score volumes are both available separately.
