A Magnificat setting in nine movements. With an introduction, libretto, plates, critical report, and alternative basso continuo part. This is the original version of this work, the earliest major vocal work by C. P. E. Bach to survive. It was premiered in 1749 at a Marian festival. This edition is based on the autograph score and a manuscript set of parts.
