In three movements. With program and performance notes. Commissioned by Omar Carmenates; co-commissioned by Owen Weaver. The music explores Carmenates' interest in the environmental implications of the use of non-renewable resources in the manufacture of percussion instruments. The third movement is theatrical in nature, and the score is comprised only of textual instructions. Duration ca. 11 minutes.
