A prolific composer (and only since 1987!), Petroff has written over 50 works, including 6 piano sonatas, a violin sonata, Kokopelli for orchestra and 2 strg quartets, one of which won 2nd prize in the 1991 Composer's Guild Competition. He also maintains a busy medical practice in San Antonio.
