Commissoned for the 21st annual Pappoutsakis Flute Competition, this piece draws upon songs from Native American tribes of the Pacific Northwest. Use of harmonics and glissandi. A rather dramatic work. Dedicated to the memory of James Pappoutsakis. Duration ca. 8 minutes.
