Edited and fingered by Carlos Barbosa-Lima. Harris was born in London and came to the US in 1938. He moved to Los Angeles in 1942 where he lived until 1992 when he retired to New Zealand. He studied with Mary Carr Moore, and was later a popular teacher in the LA area, lectured at UCLA and in Santa Barbara.
